In my own words, The Practice of Indulgences are practices in which the faithful Christian is prescribed action in the Church to get rid of the punishment that they would have to undergo in order to rid of their sins (Work). Martin Luther believed that eternal life was a gift from god and you could not get into heaven by doing good things("eternal life are not earned by good deeds but are received only as the free gift of God's grace"). I think this led to Martins indulgences because he wanted to tell everyone what he believed(?). Source found in Wikipedia.

There are four basic Vedic texts used by Hindus. The Rig-Veda, the Sama-Veda, Yajur-Veda, and the Atharva-Veda. The Rig-Veda is the largest and most important text of the Vedic collection. This Veda includes 1028 hymns and is divided into ten different books. This text is filled with metaphors and allusions that make it harder to understand by the modern reader. The Sama-Veda is almost identical to the Rig-Veda. The Sama-Veda are arranged in a different way since they are meant to be chanted as well. The Sama-Veda consists of 1,549 verses with an identical amount of hymns to the Rig-Vedas. The Yajur-Veda is divided into the White and Black Yajur-Veda and contains explanatory prose commentaries on how to perform religious rituals and sacrifices. It also consists of 1,875 verses. The Atharva-Veda contains charms and magical incantations and has a more folkloristic style. It is a collection of 730 hymns and has 6,000 mantras.

The Hajj is an annual, Islamic pilgrimage that says all Islamic people must visit the Hajj monument at least once in their life. Muslims will form a kind of circle and try to get to the center and try to touch the Kaaba at least once. I Believe someone very important is buried there.
